Dr. Dixon De Silva is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological evaluations, with a background rooted in rigorous academic training and evidence-based clinical practice. Her expertise spans advanced diagnostic assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and complex trauma-related disorders. She is qualified to conduct objective, thorough psychological evaluations across adult populations in California, providing the precise diagnostic clarity and neutral analysis critical for workers' compensation and Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) contexts.
Dr. Dixon De Silva holds a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International and has completed specialized national certification in reproductive mental health. Her extensive institutional experience includes delivering specialized and general psychological care within the Veteran’s Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and the UCLA Psychology Clinic.
She is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology at UCLA and serves as the Clinical Director of the Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
